Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing

Introduction

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) was established as a diploma program within Baylor Hospital in Dallas, now the Baylor University Medical Center. It later became one of the six degree-granting schools of Baylor University.

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)* and offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees through a Traditional program and FastBacc (one year accelerated program).

Our mission at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing is to prepare Baccalaureate and Graduate level nurses, within a Christian community, for professional practise, healthcare leadership, and worldwide service.
