When asked if everything technically possible is ethically correct, it is necessary to look for answers not only in science but also in ethics. Ethics (bioethics) provides basic and universal rules that try to put limits or margins on science.
Definition of the program
With the Master's Degree in Bioethics, it is intended to contribute, from a humanistic and ecological perspective, to sustain the professional practice of those who wish to be trained in an ethical discourse inspired by the moral foundations that favor prudent decision-making and oblige them to seek the best for each person, individualizing attention and with the best scientific and human quality.

Admission profile
Academic requirements to access the University Master's Degree in Bioethics of the International University of Valencia:
- Possess any of the following degrees in the branch of Health Sciences: Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Food Science and Technology, etc.
- Possess any of the following degrees in the branch of social and legal sciences: Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Information Sciences, etc.
- Possess any of the following degrees of the branch of the sciences of Education and Humanities: Degree in Teaching, Philosophy, Humanities, etc.
- Graduates or Diplomas in the aforementioned degrees and according to the previous study plans.
Access Requirements
The requirements of access and admission to the official Master's studies of the International Valencian University are established in accordance with article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, which establishes the organization of official university education.
They will be able to access the official university studies or those belonging to the Master, who meet any of the following requirements:
- In order to access official master's degrees, it will be necessary to hold an official university degree in Spain or another one issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area, which authorizes the issuer of the degree to access Master's degrees.
- Also, graduates may access according to educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area without the need for homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that empower in the country issuing the diploma for access to postgraduate education. The access by this way will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous title that is in possession of the interested party, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of studying the Master's degree.
