Introduction
Through one of the first online Master of Health Administration (MHA) programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), The University of Scranton provides your clearest path to success. With a 90 percent job placement rate and higher than average median salaries, excellence is just the starting point for our graduates.
The online MHA offers the key components to develop leaders who can apply a comprehensive skill set that demonstrates fluency in managing a healthcare system or organization. Utilizing the ACHE Healthcare Leadership Alliance competency model, graduates will be experts with 24 core competencies, covered in five critical domains.
Gain a detailed understanding of healthcare system management and learn from superior faculty at a school founded on Jesuit traditions of social justice and academic excellence. The program also offers two specializations:
MHA with Health Informatics Specialization
Use data to improve healthcare decisions and policies. Learn the importance of informatics in driving innovation in healthcare.
MHA with Global Health Specialization
Learn about and experience public health, health management, and social justice issues outside of North America. This specialization includes travel with faculty and other students for two 10-day study abroad trips to places like Europe and South America.
