This two-year program is intended for foreign students and new immigrants who hold a first degree in natural/medical sciences and wish to continue their studies as a researcher. It is given completely in English and classes are taken together with Israeli students. The program leads to an M.Sc. degree or, if extended, to a Ph.D.
An average grade of 82% is required for admission. An average grade of 84% or more entitles you to a scholarship. Part of the requirements is successfully completing 28 academic credits.
Acceptance to the program is a two-step process:
- You send scans of original documents showing your graduation certificate and most importantly your class list and grades your bachelor diploma and transcripts. I will submit these documents to the Office of Overseas Students’ Admission which 'translates' them into Hebrew University equivalents for evaluation. In the second step, you need to find a supervisor who will oversee your research during your studies and guide the writing of your thesis.
- Candidates from non-English-speaking countries and/or candidates who did not previously study at an institution of higher education where the language of instruction is English must submit proof of sufficient English proficiency.
