Since its inception, the educational activity of the Institute has been and is organized in collaboration with a plurality of Italian and foreign universities and today is based on a prevalent collaboration with the Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences in Rome (UniCamillus).
UniCamillus is a new university dedicated exclusively to Medical and Health Sciences. Its vocation is international, being aimed at Italian, European, and non-EU students who look to the medical profession and medicine with a global meaning.
The didactic offer is very wide and includes practical patient training courses, advanced training courses, specialization courses, and I and II level Masters lasting one or more academic years.
The Istituto Stomatologico Toscano basically represents a post-graduate school of dentistry and organizes level I and II university masters courses, specialization courses, practical patient training courses, as well as advanced training courses.

Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences (UniCamillus) – a university exclusively dedicated to Health and Medical Sciences. UniCamillus received the approval of the University Regulations and Educational Ordinances on June 20th, 2017 by CUN (Italian National University Council) and the accreditation by ANVUR (Italian National Agency of Evaluation for University and Research) on September 5th, 2017.
On November 28th, 2017 the Ministry of Education, University, and Research signed the Decree which established the University, later registered at the Court of Auditors and published on the Italian Law Official Gazette n. 3 of January 4th, 2018.
Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences (UniCamillus) welcomes students from all over the world and trains them to become physicians or health professionals versatile and focused also on diseases of underprivileged countries.
For this reason, the University is addressed particularly to EU and non-EU students who show a humanitarian, scientific, and professional interest in the health problems affecting especially the Developing countries. UniCamillus graduates will always bear in mind the humanitarian values acquired during the course of studies, especially the dignity of the patient, considered as a human being with his own sensitivity. The mission of the University is inspired by Camillus De Lellis: at the end of the 16th century, he contributed substantially to defining criteria and organization of an efficient healthcare system, by drawing up and implementing the first modern procedure of hospital care, establishing the basic principles of respect and dignity of the patient.
The educational program aims to train doctors and health professionals able to operate at a world level in order to address the health needs also of unprivileged countries. In line with the UniCamillus humanitarian mission, during the study path emphasis is given to the interrelations existing between the contents of basic and clinical sciences, with particular attention to the interdisciplinarity of medicine.
In accordance with the international dimension of the University, many degree courses are taught in English. Educational tools and support programs are available to help students improve their English knowledge during the courses until they reach the level necessary to use their qualifications in most of the countries of the world without any language barrier.
