Introduction
Students of the study program internal diseases must learn during the study the basic scientific principles: literature research preparation, the optimal choice of groups of patients or the experimental groups, get to know some diagnostic methods (laboratory, immunoanalytical, imaging). Work topics will include etiopathogenesis of the cardiovascular diseases, cancer diseases, endocrinology diseases, diagnostics and therapy of acute conditions in internal medicine, and the issues related to the vitally essential organs and function replacement.

Career Opportunities
A postgraduate of the program Internal Diseases gets acquainted with principles of scientific work: formulation of literature search, selection, and optimization of a group of patients or an experimental group. The student is also made familiar with diagnostic methods. The main topics of papers are especially the following: etiopathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases, tumor diseases, and endocrinology diseases, diagnosis and the treatment of acute states in internal medicine, and problems of the replacement of vital functions and organs.
