Introduction
As a Medical Esthetician, your role is one of customer care, from booking appointments and greeting your clients to providing them with a skin analysis, applying make-up, providing cosmetic massage, and performing regular or medical facial treatments. You may also provide laser, and radiofrequency treatments as well as microdermabrasion. As a professional, you pride yourself on upholding standards in order to prevent the transmission of contamination or any infection.
Beyond direct client care, Medical Estheticians are professionals adept at communications and management duties such as scheduling and confirming appointments; performing preparatory work and properly cleaning and restocking rooms/dispensaries as required; controlling and monitoring inventory; as well as, promoting treatments, services, sessions, and programs available to clients. You are a multi-tasker and have a passion for understanding the specialized knowledge around all that you offer to clients and enjoy educating and informing them in these myriad areas.
