Introduction
Pursue your passion for healthcare and improve the lives of others. Prepare for a rewarding career in medicine, pharmacy, or allied healthcare professions.
Why Study Pre-Health at Albion?
Whether you’re planning to pursue a career as a physician assistant, pharmacist, or allied healthcare professional, our pre-health program will provide the solid foundation of knowledge and experience you’ll need for professional school. Thanks to our rigorous academic and co-curricular programming, 96% of students that have applied to medical school over the last eight years and 100% of students that have applied to dental school have been accepted.
Our pre-health track is similar to our pre-medicine, pre-nursing, pre-dental and pre-physical therapy tracks. You’ll select a major, and through the Wilson Medical Institute, pursue the coursework, service, clinical experience and research you’ll need to take your next steps. While many pre-health students choose majors in biology, chemistry, or biochemistry, our program complements a wide range of majors, from art, communication studies, and music to philosophy, ethnic studies, and sociology.
