Access requirementsAccess to official university Master's degrees is regulated, in general, in article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29, which establishes the organization of official university education. In the case of the master's degree that enables the exercise of the profession of General Health Psychologist, the provisions of the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of May 31, 2013 must also be taken into account, which establishes the conditions to which The study plans leading to the obtaining of the official title of Master in General Health Psychology that qualify for the exercise of the titled and regulated health profession of General Health Psychologist must be adapted (published by Resolution of June 3, 2013, of the General Secretariat of Universities) and in the Order ECD / 1070/2013, of June 12, which establishes the requirements for the verification of the official university degrees of Master in General Health Psychology that qualify for the exercise of the profession titled and regulated General Health Psychologist. These standards establish that:"A necessary requirement for access to the Master in General Health Psychology will be the possession of a Bachelor / Graduate degree in Psychology together, where appropriate, with a complementary training that guarantees that the interested party has obtained, at least, 90 ECTS credits of specifically sanitary character ".In the case of access with homologated foreign degrees, it is necessary to differentiate whether you have an homologation to Bachelor of Psychology or have obtained a statement of generic equivalence to Bachelor's degree. Therefore, if the foreign degree was homologated to a Bachelor of Psychology in accordance with Royal Decree 285/2004, of February 20, it would meet the requirement for access to the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. In the case of foreign degrees subject to the procedure regulated in Royal Decree 967/2014, of November 21, and by which a declaration of equivalence to a Degree is obtained, it would not meet the requirements for access to the aforementioned master's degree since it is required the possession of a certain degree of Graduate in Psychology.Professional outingsThe master qualifies for the exercise of the profession of General Health Psychologist as established by Order ECD / 1070/2013 which establishes the requirements for the verification of the official university master's degree that enables the exercise of the regulated profession.CurriculumThe master's degree, with a total duration of 90 credits, is structured in 4 large modules: basic, specific, supervised external internships and the preparation of the final master's thesis.
