Musculoskeletal disorders such as back and neck-shoulder pain is a major problem in the working environment and are associated with reduced work ability and sickness absence. Intervention studies with physical exercise at the workplace have during recent years shown promising results in preventing and reducing musculoskeletal pain and improving workability in different occupational groups.

This course will provide the participants with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience on how to design, perform and evaluate workplace interventions for increased physical exercise and reduced sitting time for improved musculoskeletal and cardiovascular health.
