Study Medicine in English Medium in one of the leading medical educational establishments in Russia. No ‘premedical’ coursework is required as the program of study provides an all-inclusive. This six-year full-time field of Master studies prepares the graduates for the profession of a doctor. It is completed with the degree of Doctor of General Medicine. In the course of the first two years, curriculum principally includes theoretical courses (Biochemistry, Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, etc.).

The faculty offers a five-year program of Stomatology. The teaching-learning process is meant to emphasize the development of practical competence. Careful attention is given to the development of the students' personality and work habits, stressing on a personal skill that are key factors for successful careers.

The Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Science (IUEM), has a vast experience in teaching in the field of Psychology (pre-Bologna), which includes the Forensic Psychology and Criminal Behaviour component, fostering the engagement of students in projects in the community (schools, courts, law enforcement agencies, commissions to protect children and youths, municipal council, victim support associations, and others).

Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Science's (IUEM) Undergraduate Degree in Nutrition Science, stands out due to the strong investment in teaching that is focused on the nutritional clinical practice. As such, there is strict collaboration with the IUEM's Nutrition Consultations, with the aim of offering students an intense observational clinical practice focused on the community’s reality, right from the first years of their undergraduate degree. This collaboration with the Nutrition Consultations allows students to be in contact with teachers, in their specific field of practice, for about 50 hours per month. In order to intensify the students’ medical practice, open sessions with the academic community are organised periodically, where medical cases of interest in the field of nutrition are presented and discussed.

The Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Science (IUEM) Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science is one of the most renowned courses in Portugal at this time. It boasts a tradition of academic excellence in training professionals that goes back more than 20 years. We’ve trained more than 1,000 professionals in pharmaceutical science. According to the employability study (Nielsen) carried out among graduates in the last 5 years, we can see that our pharmacists have a 97% employability rate in the field of Pharmaceutical Science, and can achieve a stable contract after three months.

The General Practice Nursing study program is science and evidence-based practice teaching. The trained nursing specialist will have a deeply holistic approach to health, will be able to provide safe, high-quality services to society, apply modern technologies in professional activities, and help clients to form positive attitudes to improve health and quality of life.

The Bachelor in Nursing program aims to prepare competent nurses with the knowledge, skills and abilities of nursing science and practice, who can develop and improve professional, leadership, and teamwork competencies in pursuit of individual, family, community and public health. Upon completion of the four-year bachelor's degree in nursing, graduates will obtain a university bachelor's degree and a professional qualification as a general practice nurse.
