Introduction
The Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing offers students a choice of two tracks in which they can earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN, Pre-licensure) degree. Students can choose the pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) track or, for those who have already earned a nursing license, the RN to BSN track.
If your career goal is to become a registered nurse or to build a bridge to become an advanced practice nurse, the BSN program at the Bradley School of Nursing is the perfect option for you. In fact, as our population ages, a BSN may soon be a requirement for nurses. The “Future of Nursing Report,” issued by the Institute of Medicine and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, recommends that 80% of registered nurses have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree by 2020.
