Introduction
This Top-up degree is designed for those who already hold a relevant Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care or other relevant Level 5 qualification. This Honour’s level top-up will help you develop a critical understanding of health and social care policy, theory and practice, as well as the skills you need for effective graduate-level practice in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
You will learn how ethical, legal, social, economic and political factors influence the provision and development of services and gain the critical and analytical skills that underpin evidence-based practice. In addition, you will have the opportunity to research areas of personal interest in the health and social care sector within your dissertation module.
